I have to just say thank you again to our giving people/churches! It looks like the “Backpacks for Hope” is gonna be a great success this year! We will be doing that mission trip to deliver the b-packs the end of July.
I just came back from Syracuse, New York with a great LBA Mission Team. Bill Barker from NAMB asked me to go and help a church plant there. They are ministering to homeless people, children of addicted parents and others with serious strongholds. A lot of the children don’t know where they will spend the night from time to time. Let’s just say it was all a bit of a cultural shock! The new church plant that we worked with treats these people there with open arms! They are so acceptable of the people. The people this church serves are the kind that a lot of churches would hesitate to or wouldn't wel-come with open arms. I believe God got us all out of our comfort zones and spoke to every one of us because of this mission trip! We saw God work and it was because of this and so many other reasons that we were all blessed!
Please pray for our upcoming New Mexico mission trip. This the ninth year that we have been going there. The church we have worked alongside of, Elim Haven has some faithful Native American Navajo people that we have all fallen in love with! Please pray for these people because it is so hard for others to turn from their native beliefs.
In His Service,
