LBA Mission Team that went to Canada
On July 19-26, 2014 the Laurens Baptist Association Mission team traveled to New Brunswick, Canada. It was a long adventure to get there, since we flew into Philadelphia, Pa and Bango, Maine to save money. We had the pleasure of serving with Dave and Storey and Curtis and Brooke Greenwood. They are such hard workers in the Lord! We all built such a special closeness in the Lord and with each other! There is such a need for the Lord in Canada. As we were told, too much religion and not enough Jesus! We worked very hard for the Lord and His work. We did 2 VBS's each day. The men helped with construction and cutting wood for the elderly and disabled. Canadians start cutting wood as soon as they can, because of their long and very cold winters. We are praying for the Lord to continue water what we have planted. Please pray for those who were saved. Pray they will seek the Lord daily and remain faithful to Him! Please pray with us for the Storey family and the Greenwood family. Pray God will strengthen and encourage them as they serve Him!
