New Mexico Mission Trip 

​For the ninth year in a row the Laurens Baptist Association has been going to minister with our Navajo Native American friends in New Mexico. The Lord has really blessed this ministry and we have seen things/blessings that were ONLY because of our Lord! We have been able to reach out to people in leadership positions who have never heard the gospel. Then there is our dear Christian Navajo family at Elim Haven Church. Over the years we have developed such good friendships and had such good fellowship with our special friends! We so much look forward to seeing each other every year! We are blessed because the Lord has called us there! Just to share how much our people feel God’s pulling there, of our 20 people that went on the July Mission Trip this year only 2 of them had never been before! That’s right, 18 of the ones who went have been there numerous times! Some of us have been going as many as 8 and 9 years! This year the Day Camp was wonderful! We averaged 95 just children! Please pray for the ones who have accepted Christ over the years. For we know most are not encouraged in their walk because of their native beliefs. May God continue to bless our Christian family at Elim Haven Baptist Church and their ministry!
